In Argentina, the film "To Shoot an Elephant" was seen by hundreds of people in Neuquen, Tucuman and Buenos Aires. In Argentina's capital, a call was launched by the UPMPM and the organizers were the Fertile Film Association and the Federation of Argentine-Palestine.
The exhibition of the film, then followed a discussion on its contents and the background that the Israeli aggression has meant to all of Palestine and especially for the Gaza Strip, involving much of the audience, moved by the material presented

En la tarde-noche de ayer nos reunimos más de una treintena de personas en Lakaxita Gaztetxea para ver el documental. Las palabras sobre lo impactante de dicho documental sobran. Solo cabe comentar que el silencio después de la proyección duró cerca de diez minutos.
The screening in Tucuman took place as planned, despite the meteorological alert in the region yesterday night. About 20 people gathered in el Cïrculo del la Prensa to watch the movie, which is not bad for the unstable whether conditions and the time (summer in Tucuman is holydays and many people run away from the hot whether to the montains, to the beach or to other cities. There was a very interesting debate among the watchers, who are people from quite different religious or political backgrounds but all were equally amazed with the facts shown in the movie and keen to organize further activities to bring more information and awareness about the situation of the Palestinian people and to fight Zionist propaganda and lies which unfortunatelly dominates the mass media We agreed on organizing a series of film screenings on this issue during the first semester of this year as a first step.
